Meet Leigha

Originally from upstate NY, I studied nutrition at the University of Buffalo. After growing my desire to gain the skills of how food is thoughtfully prepared, sourced and grown; I switched gears and attended The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. During my time at the CIA I interned at the former three Michelin starred restaurant, The Restaurant at Meadowood in Napa Valley. After graduating from culinary school I moved to Aspen, CO to work at the former Montagna at The Little Nell. Wanting to lean more into my nutrition studies, I developed a vegan food program at a local juice bar in Aspen. From there our clientele gained interest in having vegan meal options in their home and I branched out and began my private chef career in the Rocky Mountains.

My husband and I both being from the east coast brought our business back to our roots, landing here in Greenwich in 2015. I have been a private chef for both singular families and a personal chef to many, providing in home meal prep, dinner parties and small catered events.

Although I am classically French trained the majority of my work is spent creating nutrient dense and nourishing meals for clients with a variety of dietary restrictions. With this intent North Craft was formed. I am proficient in vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, whole 30, celiac and FODMAP diets; as well as those that maintain an Ayurvedic lifestyle.

North Craft services both Westchester and Fairfield counties and am always looking to highlight the best that each season brings and source as locally as possible.

When I’m not cooking you can find me playing tennis, skiing or cheering on the Buffalo Bills.

Let’s cook something up!
